Project Highlights
Snazzy Mechons U7, a students’ team from Sri Krishna College of Technology, Coimbatore chose urban areas/cities as their project sector.
Demand for more energy makes us to seek new energy sources. Extinction of fossil fuels is another cause to go for new energy sources. Man-made radiations differ from natural radiations. In case of solar energy, it suffers a serious disadvantage that the flat solar panel occupies more space. Thus, using a hybrid system could be a feasible solution.
Who is Behind this Project?
The team is led by Mr. Antony Abraham and the team members are
- Antony Abraham
- Keerthi Palanichamy
- Gowtham Vetrivel
- Bhala Ghanesan A
- Ravi Bharathi P.R.
What is the Project all about?
Using a hybrid system i.e. combination of both solar and wind energy, more electricity can be generated at both day and night time.
What is the Uniqueness of the Solution?
- Hybrid energy system
- Un-interrupted power supply
- Frustum shaped solar panel
- Solar energy combined with wind turbine
- Free from pollution and less heat dissipation
- Combination of two energy substances with lower cost
- Less transmission loss with just 7%
What is the Potential Market?
The proposed system could be used in particular areas such as tribal and isolated areas where in such areas, the power transmission through the cable lines is very difficult and hence it could be a boon for those areas.
This system can meet the demands of the urbanization with increased efficiency .In mere future, fossil fuels will get depleted and hence it can be resolved through the renewable resources like solar and wind energy so that marketing of our product will be at its peak.
